Starting a new business

Well, we are preparing to move yet again. This time back to Arizona.

I am beginning to really dislike packing.

On a positive note, I am excited because after much thought I have decided to continue with my design business full time. I have been running Lindsey Web Design for over 6 years now, most of which has been completely online.

With the exception of a few listings in online directories, some link exchanges and visiting forums – I have never advertised my business ever (most people who know me offline don’t have a clue that I even run a business). I usually work part-time, usually late at night and seldom ever talk on the phone to clients. All of that is about to change and I am SO nervous!

Lindsey Web Design will be morphing into Arizona Web Development on April 1st 2007 and will run during “normal” business hours. I will be setting up a real office (still in my home however) with a separate telephone and fax line.

I am pretty nervous mostly because I am actually a very shy, quiet person who likes working in the background. Lindsey Web Design will still be online, but I am working on re-designing it and changing the focus slightly.

Wish me good luck, I’ll post an update once the new site is live.
