I recently switched some of my websites over to HostGator in November and I have to tell you, I could not be more happier with their services and pricing! For $9.95, you can host unlimited websites. This is a huge money saver if you run multiple websites (like me) and are paying separate fees for them each month.
HostGator provides a whole lot of CGI/Perl and PHP scripts built-in including WordPress, Drupal, PHPNuke, phpBB, ZenCart, osCommerce and more. Just click and the script is installed for you. So easy.

I personally am using the Baby Croc Plan which costs me $9.95 per month and includes 100GB of web space, 1000GB data transfer, unlimited POP emails, unlimited domains, unlimited sub-domains, and unlimited MySQL databases.
Support (both online through their Help Desk and over the telephone) has always been very friendly and quick to answer my questions.
The only downside I can think of is that with my plan (the $9.95/mo.), Anonymous FTP, ASP and private SSL is not supported (shared SSL is). However the next plan up, the Swamp for $14.94 per month, includes all three.
