Who Is Gerae?

Filed Under: General | Author: Gerae Lindsey

Some how you stumbled across my website and onto this page so you must be wondering… who is Gerae and how do you pronounce her lovely name?

No? That’s not what you were thinking? Oh well, I’ll continue on anyways.

My name is Gerae Lindsey (which is pronounced like Je-ray) but most people refer to me as Lindsey. I’ve been called a whole host of things growing up so if it’s close, I’ll answer to it. As of December 2007, I am a 28 year-old Mom/wife with 5 beautiful (and crazy) kids. This blog covers topics related to web design, working at home, affiliate marketing and blogging. Why these particular topics?

I have been working from my home for close to 7 years as a freelance web designer. I work with CSS and HTML to provide clean, fast loading, search engine friendly websites (it’s my blog, I can throw in a plug for my business). Most of my clients have been work at home or small business owners. In addition to web design, I have ran a variety of other “at home” businesses over the years. As you can guess, I have a lot of experience with work at home issues.

I stumbled into affiliate marketing about 5 years ago with the encouragement of my friend Rae, whom I met many moons ago at a work at home Mom message board. I am no pro, but I manage to earn enough money for our family to enjoy vacations, dining out and support my habit of online shopping.

I began my first blog 2 years ago and have been at it ever since. In addition to writing in my blogs, I enjoy reading the blogs of others.

When it comes to these topics, I’ve pretty much “been there” and “done that” and my writings are my personal thoughts and experiences with each. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I can not guarantee an answer – but you can always ask. Here is how to contact me…

Send me an email –the fastest way to get a response: info@geraelindsey.com

Chat with me on Yahoo! IM (geraelindsey) or visit me on MySpace (which I reluctantly created so I could spy on my nephew for my Grandma – no kidding).
